How We Serve Our Residents

The Plan Commission has several responsibilities to the City of Litchfield. Members provide advice and recommendations to the City Council regarding rezonings, conditional use, planned developments, subdivisions, site plan approvals and amendments to the zoning, sign, and subdivision ordinances and comprehensive plan.

The Zoning Board of Appeals responsibilities are to hear appeals from any zoning-related decisions or orders made by the Building Inspector, review requests for lot size/bulk variances to ensure they meet standards and perform other duties recommended by the Council.
