There is a monthly minimum water bill for up to 2,000 gallons of water. After that, the water increases every 100 gallons. Sewer charges are based on water usage. If you have questions, you can always contact the water department at 217-324-2022.

Residents can install the sidewalk themselves and be reimbursed $1.50 per square foot by following City guidelines and upon approval from the Street Superintendent.
